Layout for vinyl and CD print!

I have been so fortunate as to work with some amazing bands, which involves mostly knowing their songs as something like “version 2 unmixed”, “samba 3” or just “new guitar solo”. Getting to put what I mean is the finishing touch on something as magical as a physical release is just amazing and fun.

Oslo city fire 1624

Working as an archaeologist for Norsk Maritimt Museum, I was thrilled to be asked to do illustrations for the Oslo city fire of 1624. There are already a few illustrations of the event, mostly done in the 1990s and, might I say, over exploited. They were all depicting the internal city as well, and the Maritime Museum needed something depicting the docks specifically, with tools and trade goods that are known to be found in the burnt masses in the dock area.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Stickers!

Since the first days of my band Gravy Jones, stickers have been part of my design catalogue! I have made lots of stickers through the years (and I see them occasionally at toilets and sketchbooks all around town), and as useless as they are, I love the concept!
